battery disconnect-reconnect, dome light don't work. Ignitio

2001 V70 wagon...when I disconnect the battery the dome lights don't work. What is the ignition and door cycles to "wake the car up."

UEM needs a reset, methinks. Lock and unlock the car 3 times (with key in driver's door), that should reset the UEM.

True...next time, when you reconnect the battery, put your key in the ignition in position II...that will keep strange electrical things from happening.
