my s80 has the Hu611 cd player with the cd changer in the boot. If I disconnect the battery will I need the code to make it work again? Also where can I get the code from since I've lost the code card when shifting to Fiji.
Cheers,
s80 t2.0 2000 Car Stereo

Double check with your local dealer's service department, but I don't think you'll need a code for the radio. When I changed my battery in my '00 S80 T6 I called and the service rep told me I didn't need a code for the S80. I've changed the battery twice (first one had a bad cell) and have only had to change the clock, the radio has worked fine and the pre-set stations didn't even change.

No code needed for your radio- just on the earlier versions.
