My wife's 1994 850 is in the driveway with an accelerator pedal that does not have any effect on the throttle. It had been sticking before, but she had been able to get it moving with a little force. Now however the pedal connects to the throttle cable is not connected anymore (I guess). I tried to look/feel how the connection is made but could not tell. Any advice would be appreciated since I cannot get the V70 out of the garage until I get the 850 moving again.
By the way, I am mechanically declined so simple advice helps.

CHECK THE THOTTLE CABLE AT THE THOTTLE BODY. IT AT THE RIGHT OF THE ENGINE RIGHT BY THE BATTERY. IT HAS A BLACK COVER WITH ONE T25 SCREW IN IT. SEE IF THE CABLE IS OFF.

So it is routed correctly? Is the cable taut?
