S80 power window problem

Hi,
My son is now driving my 2000 s80 and he lost the window trim on the drivers side. Winter set in and it must have got wet and frozen inside the door panel which in turn bent the regulator arms for the power window. I was able to straighten it out and put new blocks on, not an easy task. The problem is that the front arm does not seem to travel at the same height as the back. Are these supposed to be at the same level? The front appear to be about 7 to 8 inches lower so the window does not close properly.
