v40 wont rev up

hi i have a v40 1.8 gdi petrol non turbo the car will idle fine but wont rev up it just seems to bog down and miss fire,i have checked fault codes non stored ,air filter clean you can drive the car but again when you to to accerate it bogs down ,i have split the exhaust at the front pipe thinking this could be blocked but made no diffrence help

Check fuel pressure; plugs; plug leads and fuel filter.

removed air in take pipe to check throttle body operation ,turned ingition on pressed throttle pedel butterfly opened but only about 3/4 of the way took foot of throttle pedel butterfly closed turned of ingition off butterfly fully opened and then closed is this correct operation of the throttle pot ????
