First, thanks for doing this. I'll definitely be donating soon.
Car:
2002 S60 2.4T 80K miles. Just had boost pressure/map sensor replaced, recent oil change.
Problem:
Need to replace front rotors, pads. Have the Volvo service manual on the way (couldn't find VADIS), and I have replaced pads once before in my life on a 2001 GMC pick-up. It didn't seem that hard.
1. Will a Volvo be fairly easy to do on my own, including the rotors?
2. Anything tricky I wouldn't think of, or that the manual may forget to mention?
3. How do I know if I need 285mm rotors or 305mm? Bust out a measuring tape?
4. What brands do you recommend?
Any help with any question will be appreciated. Thanks.
