To pads, I would add Wagner, to rotors I would add Bosch.

I did Brembo rotors with Akebono on the sedan.
They seem very nice. The Brembo rotors were cheap because I bought them from old stock. They are four lug pattern on the '93 850s.
I eventually also replaced these calipers and used Centric, stainless steel braided lines.

I have Centric, drilled/slotted rotors, and the same Akebono ceramic pads ready to go on the Turbo wagon.
1993 850 GLT , You wouldn't know it.
1996 850 Turbo Wagon White.
1995 T-5R Black. New work in progress.
1998 V70 XC Cross Country White.
1994 850 N/A Wagon Black.
1997 850 Sedan Black.
1996 850R Wagon White.
1997 850 Sedan Red ( not white or black!)

Add: TRW pads, I have them on my 850 and they grab amazingly well.

I have the Jurid pads on my S70 and I'm not impressed, not much bite or grab.
We should rate the brands
1998 Volvo S70 T5 - SE - 240km - Sold July 2018
1997 Volvo 850 GLT - 190km
Boost is my drug of choice
