Yesterday my wife's S80 just stopped running while driving, good news was she was in a parking lot.
The code came up P0343, Cam Position Sensor, A Bank 1, Ckt High Input.
So, I have looked in my VADIS and it seems to be an easy fix. The only thing I am running in to is getting a new sensor shipped to me quickly. Nobody has it in stock, so it may take 3-5 days before it ships, then a couple of days before I get it...
Has anyone out there had to change the cam position sensor before?

Have you taken a look at the sensor? On the S/V70's anyway, it is in a location where if there's a cam shaft leak, it can get on the sensor and foul it...simply cleaning it can sometimes restore its function- oh, and replacing the seal. Anyway, it would be worth a look and the connector to the sensor which could be corroded and simply need cleaning.
