1991 volvo 740 turbo

Hi all ... I am looking into buying a 1991 volvo 740 turbo for parts . The engine is seized due to the owners son driving it without oil in it. I am wondering if it is likely that he messed up the turbo as well?
Could i get some help with this please ?

As the turbo depends on the engine for its oil supply I would say there is a very good chance that it suffered.

I went to go have a look at the car this afternoon . The turbo is different than mine anyhow . The car was really just a junker bald tires. cracked front and rear windshields torn up interior.
I offered to pay to have it towed out of there and give him $100.00 for it but he declined. Still wants $500.00 for it !
