It was pretty cold today (-20 Celsius) and when I tried to drive my 1997 Volvo 850 GLT (turbo) Auto I couldn't get it to accelerate past 20km/h and it wouldn't shift out of 1st gear.
I also noticed that the power windows seemed to respond very slowly/sluggish so not sure if that's related at all (power/battery problem?).
Anyone have any ideas or similar experience? I tried using gears "L" and "2" as well as "D" and it was all the same, it would continue to drive slowly and would only rev to about 1500 to 2000 rpm when I floored the accelerator. Reverse seemed to work fine.
No warning/error or malfunction indicator lights came on.
