It gets very windy in Ireland

This is the VADIS instruction:
The warning about the battery lead - After switching off the ignition wait at least 5 minutes before disconnecting the negative battery lead. This is to avoid problems with SRS.
When re-connecting the negative lead the ignition switch must be in position 2 and nobody should be inside the car.
Bill.

Looking at the parts list there are 9 clips.
I should also have added that after re-connecting the battery you will need to initialize the upper electronic module which controls the central locking, interior lighting and sun roof if fitted. This is done by unlocking the car using the remote control or a key. Really difficult step, that one.
If your car is fitted with the manual or standard climate control you will also need to calibrate the blower fan. If fitted with a sun roof this will also need calibrating. Let me know if you need the instructions for either or both of these.

Could you pls add those extra instructions for the climate control and sunroof too pls? Seems like disconnecting the battery is likely at some point. Calibrating a sunroof??? Geez. Thanks in advance !billofdurham wrote:Looking at the parts list there are 9 clips.

Do you have the instruction on removing the rear right side door panel for 2006 XC90? I'm trying to fix the power window issue with my XC90 and need to have a look at the how the power window mechanism works and what broke. Thanks.
