95 850, light in radio display burnt out?

Let us know when you get it fixed and feel free to add your pearls of wisdom. Any pictures that you can snap and post will be appreciated as well. I have done the procedure several times but I have not chronicled the experience with a decent enough documentation and pictures to post a writeup and that is what this board is all about!

The only thing I can add is to be careful when removing the metal frame. It will fight with you since in most cases they twisted the metal tab that you are unsoldering before they soldered it in. If you get too aggressive when removing the frame it can damage the display itself.

It goes without saying but I will say it anyway - you need to know your radio code.
