Volov 850 T5-R
Hi all! I am majorly new hear to this place, but i have a 850 T5-R yellow with the sport/racing package. From what i have heard these are hard to come by. Anyways the car is all stock as of now except slightly large tires, and i was wondering if any one could help me adjust the tire pressure for better handling. Is the sticker the way to go or not? THanks for any help, sometime i will get some pics if any body would like some!

I've never raced, so take this with a grain of salt, but the lower the pressure the bigger the contact patch is going to be. The bigger the contact patch, the more grip.
I wouldn't go too much under the listed pressure because on 17 or 18 inch wheels you have very little margin of error when a bump or pothole comes up on your tire at 100mph. It will bend the rim, especially if it's the original 17 inch Volvo wheels. I've read those are prone to cracking, but I was never able to turn up evidence of a recall. Perhaps someone else here will know. The wheels *may* have been called "Titan". If you send me a picture of them I can tell you for sure.
Again, take all this with a grain of salt and get as many opinions as you can. And I'm not an advocate of driving fast on public roads. If you do race, I suggest doing it on a track.
