V70 2005 Passenger Airbag Light

I have one of those intermitent problems that doesn't show itself to the dealer. They also don't see any codes in the system indicating a problem. So I am reaching out to find out if others have this issue as my local dealership has not been much help.

The passenger airbag light on the rearview mirror turns on and off periodically. Sometimes it turns on when you start the car, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it turns on after you have been driving for awhile, will stay on for an inconsistent period of time (30 seconds or 30 minutes), and then turn off. This will happen if an adult is sitiing in the passenger seat, or if no one is in the seat.

Thanks for any ideas.

Very strange goings-ons... and sorry to tell you that I have no clue what's going on with your car. Being an '05, is it still not under warranty? They should keep it (and give you a loaner car) until they can replicate it and fix it.
