Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

Sunroof stuck

Post by mmelchor »

I have a 2003 Volvo S80 and my sunroof is stuck in the ventilation position. Is there a wat to close it until I can get it fixed? There is zero motor noise..no sign of life for the sunroof. all the fuses look fine.

Help!

Have you tried holding the switch in the 'down' position for 5 seconds? Also, try this: using a key, lock and unlock the doors 3 times. This resets the UEM and might bring the sunroof back to life.

I have tried all those things. Thanks for the tip but nothing seems to work. I was hoping there was a way to manually close it. I hope it just a bad switch and I don't have to replace the motor.
