Vent Canister name?

Post by crucifiedpooh »

I'm looking to replace a canister, but I don't know what its name is. It is located in the passenger rear wheel well behind the gas filler neck. It has a hole on the bottom end and a arrow pointing upwards on the side. I went to the dealership and they thought it might be an air filter. Anyone have any idea? Thanks ..

Ahh sorry, it's a 2001 V70, non-turbo.

Hello crucifiedpooh, So, what happened with your black canister with the arrow? I'm going to be looking around that area for a cracked plastic pipe today (0442 code-small evap. leak). Did you ever learn what it is? Did you have a good experience with the dealership/parts guys? Thanks, George
