2002 S60 - Radio

Post by paramedic108 »

I have a 2002 S60 T5 with the factory CD/Tape system. Can I purchase a used later year Volvo deck that would include an Aux input for iPod/Sat that would fit in the car? If so what year should I look for and what would the model number be ?

Thanks

Sounds like you have a HU-613 (theres a number on the front of you radio)

If you wanted to upgrade you would want a 01-03 HU-803,

The upgrade would be expensive
- HU803 - Goes for $100-250
- Dealer Software $ installation $$couple hundred
- 300w Volvo Amp - $250
- You'd need about all new speakers (13 of them)

but you could keep the original 8 speakers and buy the 5 upgraded ones but im saying the 13 speakers you get with the 803 are completly different than a 613

also you may need new door panels if yours arent made for premium sound

But if you want just to add a ipod/AUX to your car for pretty cheap 150 http://www.ipdusa.com/Volvo-S60/Interio ... -513-1623/

^^^ Wow, that can get expensive.

https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/2009/0 ... vo-radios/ <- several options in those topics

It all depends what your budget is, and how "pro" it looks. As one goes up, the other goes up  .
