Shade Tree Mechanic was to change timing belt, cqm seals, serpentine belt.
Results: Took valve cover off, took out cams.
Now car has 60# compression instead of 120#

What's wrong?

Sounds like one of the cam shafts is about one tooth off in the timing belt or the crank is not properly aligned.
Have them take the lower cover off and check to see if the index marks on the cams and the crankshaft all line up like they are supposed to.
