xc90 2006 Are all my lights on?
I have bi-xenons and when I switch to high the inboard (day time) lights do not come on. All four lights on my v40 come on. Is this the way it is with the bi-xenons?

Well I should have looked harder. I found my answer.

It's been hard for me to check this out by myself. When the car is in park with the ignition running, they aren't on (for DRL).
According to the manual these inner bulbs officially serve as the High-beam bulb (as seen in these diagrams from the rear):
In the manual they mention about the Daytime Running Lights:
Models with daytime running lights:
Low beam headlights will automatically come on if the ignition key is in position II. Front and rear parking lights, tail lights, side marker lights, and license plate lights will also be on. Volvo recommends the use of daytime running lights. If, however, you would prefer to have these lights turned off (USA only), please consult your Volvo retailer. Please note that the use of daytime running lights is mandatory in Canada.
Also in the manual, it says the headlight flasher works as follows:
Headlight flasher (headlights off).
Move the lever towards the steering wheel. The headlight high beam will be on until the lever is released.
It is clearly inconclusive about BiXenon systems. Until I have someone with me (driving in front of me, maybe) I can't determine if they come on or not. Nevertheless, I am further confused.

Yes, the inner bulbs serves as a high-beam bulb ONLY in NON bi-xenon models. Otherwise Aquaman is right
