Just got an oil change and kept the regular oil.
However, my car is a 97 850 turbo. It has 107k on the odometer. For about 15k the car was in my sister's hands who treated it like shit. Anyway, this question really isn't exclusive to Volvo's, but what are people's thoughts on the high mileage oils out there. And would it be worth it to upgrade?
High Mileage Oil

We have always used synthetic from new in the S70 and from 42k on the 850, which was the mileage when I got it and noticed brown film (sludge) inside the 850 engine. Over a few years the synthetic cleaned it up a lot.
Besides longer interval, synthetic is slicker and slightly improves gas mileage.
Whichever, turbos dirty up faster and need changing more often than NA engines.
