CLUTCH - Just recently my clutch pedal has started making a rattling/clicking noise - I can put my foot under the pedal and lift up a little and it will stop when I remove my foot, other times I have to hold my foot there to keep it from rattling and clicking (this is a loud rattle/click that can be heard outside the car).
ENGINE - Yesterday the engine area started making a wining noise while driving. Now when I come to a stop it sounds like a siren winding down.
(The wining only occurs when the car is in motion @ 40 mph or faster, when the car is just idling there is no noise)
Please help! I'm getting ready to take the car to a mechanic, but we just moved so I'm going in blind to a new mechanic and want to have some possible idea upfront as to what may be wrong
