No danger there as long as you don't have the lights on- make sure your key is out of the ignition. Everything else is straight forward. Glad you got your timing belt taken care of!

In regards to the timing belt fix,.. the car purred like a kitten on the test ride yesterday and ran fine for the run to the store today. It sat in the driveway all day, just went to run out to the store and the check engine light began to flash after approx 1/4 mile down the road, turned around and came back. Engine seems to be missing, Idle is alittle rough , exhaust smells alittle like bad gas in a lawn mower. Any thoughts on this before I rip it all down to make sure every thing is still lined up?
Or do you think I 'm looking at something new that has developed? I'll be up all night on this one. Thanks in advance.

I would pull the cover and check the marks and the tensioner setting. If you have to take the belt off be sure to pass by the marks and spin the cams an extra 90 degree (180 degrees at the crank and then spin backwards to the marks to relieve the tension on the varible cam timing gear.
I'll be but for a while too so send an email if you need anything .
The left top cover can be removed quickly to check the cam timing marks

Update on my dilemma. I pulled everything back off. The timing marks all line up but the tensioner had advanced beyond the site window by the width of the indicator. I just went through the adjusting procedure agian and still have a rough idle and flashing check engine light. I pulled the plugs and cleaned them. They had a slightly lite brown deposit on them cleaned them up and put them back in. I'm wondering if it just couldn't be crap fuel. The tank is indicating just below 1/4. I called my wife she pick up her last batch at Cumberland Farms (Crap Gas). Anything anyone could offer on this would be greatly appreciated I've got to get this up and running for tomorrow. I'm getting alot of moisture out of the exhaust , the smell is closer to bad fuel then antifreeze and there is no smoke.. I'm stuck what else could I possibly check!!

You should be running at least mid-grade fuel anyway- I would be tempted to put premium in at a reputable station and see if it helps in making a difference. I might even throw in a bottle of Techron.

On yours aren't the coils matched in pairs except for #5?
Think about it- should help you narrow things down- could also be one plug gapped wrong.
