s80 1999 coolant system

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

Try under the top radiator hose where the hose attaches to the thermostat housing. IPD posted this as 99-2008 but later it shows 2003-2008
http://www.ipdusa.com/version.asp?strPa ... &V_ID=9296

I will keep looking but I think it ahs been on the thermostat housing for many years.

Good Luck,
John

PS - Please pray for me. I got shafted by a bad boss and am out of a job right now. Anyone in the Nashville TN area needing free help on a Volvo should let me know. I would like to help serve the community while I am unemployed.
I was a insurance claims manager ( one of the ones that actually helped people (guess that doesn't always fit in) that specialized in auto damage repair)
Thanks,
John

My T6 doesn't look anything like that photo. It's just a straight pipe going back into the engine block.

I think the sensor is down by the water pump, along with the thermostat. I'd post a PDF but my VADIS is acting up again.

OK, take a look at this PDF. My car has part #26 for the return pipe. So I believe that the temp sensor is part #19. On other cars it might be part #5.

Here's another illustration that shows the temp sensor as part #26: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/ ... atalogid=0
