am changing the stock intercooler in my s70t5 for a devise that will do a better job.

i notice that the stock intercooler has a small hole on the bottom that faces the road. it looks like some kind of breather hole.

the new one that i've got does not have one.

is the hole important?

thanks alot guys.

That is a drain hole for condensation. For the stock intercooler the drain hole is important. If your replacement was designed for your car I would presume that it will work without modification.
