Post by Oreste »

Hi, I would appreciate some help with my volvo s40 1.9 2001... everytime I put on the AC the car starts heating up and also starts making longer gear shifts....Can you tell me what could be causing such trouble.... once the AC is off the engine temperature goes back to normal and the car begins to funtion normally.... hoping to hear soon from you

Best regards, take care

VADIS shows that there are two fans just behind the radiator. The one closer to the passenger side of the car is the AC fan. Does that one come on when your turn the AC on? Also, I'd look for debris in the intake area in front of the radiator and condenser.
