850 Maint Schedule ????

Post by Mister 93 »

I have just reached 163K miles on my 850GLT 93. I have done a few minor fixes myself. I saw a tuneup kit on VLV website, 5 Plugs-Wires-Cap-and rotor for about 60 bucks. The dealer wants 220 for the same parts plus whatever they will charge for labor.
Does anyone have a detailed maintenence schedule, I would like to see just what things I can do myself.

Thanks
93 850 GLT, just hit 163K

I would suggest using only Volvo parts on your engine because you can run into driveability problems. The parts on the engine are designed specifically for that engine.

If the electrical parts are OEM go for it . No need to by "Volvo" you are only paying for the name on the blue box. If you wer doing brakes I would use Volvo pads.
