Buying another?
Today my wife and I decided to take the leap and get another car... Naturally another Volvo. This time a 2005 s40 t5... Was wondering if anyone could tell me anything good/bad about this model.... It had 41k and appears to be adult driven and well cared for. On another note we have a 95 854 n/a w/ 130k in mint condition.... any recommendations on a proper retirement for her/ any suggestions on a proper asking price?

Disclaimer: Please, do not take this the wrong way,
but
WHY?
130K is Nothing for these cars. And the 2005 has a whole lot more stuff to break.
If I were in your shoes, ( and the 850 really is mint? ) I'd put my money there...
850's are rock solid and pre Ford. Much easier on electronic gadgets, etc.
Simpler, cheaper ( WAAAAY cheaper), easy to work on, all kinds of parts available,
plenty of shops that know 850's inside out.
The list goes much farther on.
Maybe I'm just I'm just stuck in the '90's, but I'd invest that money elsewhere
( retirement, college fund, gold?
) and drive that '95 until the wheels fall off!
Just my .02's. Best of Luck!

How much do you want for your minty 850?
I could be interested- best way to retire it is sell it to an enthusiast!
