Does alarm and rain sensor are optional for 2004 S80?

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

Does alarm and rain sensor are optional for 2004 S80?

Post by zhifong »

I just recently bought a second hand S80, I couldn't be more happier to have it. However, my dealer was telling me the car has no genuine alarm and rain sensor installed, and that's the optional. So I was wondering is that true? If not, how can I find out that then? (I did some sort of the test taught by the experts in the forum, by the way.)

According to the Volvo published specification, the alarm system is standard, but the rain sensor is part of an option package: https://www.customers.volvocars.com/own ... s_S80.html
.
