Pulling Rack and Pinion for replacement. Ordered new rack from Detroit Axle but the new one came without the bracket (it's formed as part of the rack) for mounting the rear lower engine mount. Talked to Detriot Axle tech who informed me that the mount is 'optional' in aftermarket and that all the racks they had on the shelf were the same - no bracket. Everything else is exactly the same.
Looking to see if anyone has experience with this. My incling is to send it back and get one wit the bracket - which would mimic original layout.

The rear mount is not at all optional, it is absolutely necessary.
