Well this is the deal, I thought that having my hoses crossed on the turbo could have caused some type of internal engine pressure and that caused my RMS and camshaft seal to leak. Because I changed my PCV system less than 18 months ago I did not believe it was the issue. Well once I got the turbo hoses squared away thanks to Vegas I had enormous power on my T5. The oil I found in the intake was due to the PCT small fitting was clogged.

But I have identified the leak that caused me to post this topic. It is the rear main seal for sure. I had the car on a lift and had a friend bring the engine up to 2200 RPMs and the openiong on the flywheel had oil splashing out onto the parts underneath. The weep hole for the RMS also started dripping. I'm losing a half to 3/4 quarts every 100 miles.

I will crack the engine or have a shop do it. I would like to have some piston rings installed because I believe a little oil is getting by. (233000 miles) I 've read the rms will cost about $1000, if anyone out there have done this maintenance for the rms please inform.
Thanks
TRI
