Thanks to your help I have been able to pull multiple codes from my '94 non turbo wagon from A-1 #313, A-3 #144, A-7 #122, 231 and B2#122
but my real problem is rough idle cold and no reverse it was working but now it's gone. I pulled the codes because I had the trans rebuilt but I did not change the solenoids, hoping to find some solenoid codes but they are not there. when I place the car in drive it will drive but I get quite a bit of vibrations with my foot on the brake any help as to where should I start?
again I thank you for your time and effort.

Hi wagonman,
I don't have any firsthand experience with trans problems, 'cept for flushing the fluid, so I can't help directly. However, I link to this http://www.babcox.com/editorial/ic/ic40238.htm, listed on my Links page, displays the word 'soleniod' 6 times; pretty good chance it will help in one way or another.
