URGENT Service Transmission message
I just purchased a 2002 S80 from a private owner. The car drove fine during my test drive, however, on the expressway the "urgent service transmission" light came on. The trans seemed to switch gears fine but now it shifts kinda hard. Any ideas? Lord, please don't say the trans is going bad. Someone said maybe I should have the trans fluid flushed (it looked fairly clean with some dirt) because there is a possible air bubble or something. Also, this message does not come up everytime. Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated, thanks

I think a fluid changed would be a great idea. If you have a 6-cylinder engine, here's a how-to: https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... 11&t=20278
