89' 740 GL Wagon Cold start problem solved!

Finally SUCCESS! My 89' 740 GL Volvo SW is running like a dream. No more cold start problems and all the codes are clear and no more check engine lights appear. It ended up being the ECT sensor (rear one for fuel injection)for a third time. The first new one I put in I got from the dealer and it was bad. The second one I put in was after market with a blue plastic bottom and turned out to be the wrong one. This third one I ordered was from Voluparts out of Atlanta, Ga. it had the black plastic bottom and it solved all my problems. How strange is that? I also took the Radio relay from the 90' 740 Turbo SW I have for parts and put it in my 89'. It helped a bit but didn't clear any of the codes. I was able to find a garage to put in a new AC evap for under $450 so I never did pull the one out of my 90' to use but thanks for all the instructions. I did however have fun pulling all the parts out of the whole dash that I may need later or sell to others. But now my car is running great and keeping me cool during these hot GA summer. To get one bad/wrong sensor is bad luck. To get two bad/wrong sensors.........you must have really upset somebody!
