Ever since the original bulbs went out I've been having problems with replacement bulbs burning out or blowing out after 3 months sometimes sooner. I've replaced the original with Sylvania Silver Star Ultra H7 bulbs every time. Any ideas?

Those Silver Stars have a very short life span. If you change to a regular H7 they will last about 5 times as long.

FYI, I recently bought a set of these on eBay. I know people are down on Chinese parts, but I figure for 1/6th the cost (shipped) of name brand bulbs, they're worth a shot. These bulbs are definitely brighter than the stock bulbs. I don't know how long they'll last. It took about a week to get them from Hong Kong.
