wheel hub replacement problem

Post by tibblesmjm »

I have a 2004 XC70 and Right wheel bearing needed replacing. well I have been able to remove all of the necessary things to remove the 4 bolts holding it on. yet it won't budge. Is there more I'm missing in removing this hub assembly?
Anyone with any help

Welcome to MVS. If you're talking about the rotors, then just bang on them, but the hub/bearing is more involved. Hopefully this will help:

On my S60 it just required some tapping with a hammer. I detailed it at http://www.volvo-forums.com/t27042-2002 ... cement.htm actually if it's of any help... but I could replicate that thread in a PDF / on this forum if there was interest!
