Pioneer CD Changer

Don't know if this is possible or not, but I have a '93 850glt with an oem am/fm/cd/cassette from a '97 and I would like to hook up a Pioneer cd changer with the P-Bus connector to the stereo. I know that it can be done with Alpine changers, but can I do it with my Pioneer?

I tried installing my Pioneer changer into the Factory head on my 93 850 and it wouldn't work. I ended up running thru the FM modulator that can with the changer. Later I ended up replacing the Head with a Blaupunt and again I had to run it thru the FM moudulator.
