Hey guys,
My wife's S40 has a failed drivers side strut bearing (squeaking noise when you turn the wheel all the left). We do not notice any difference in ride quality, just the annoying squeak. My question is, we plan on replacing this car in about 6 months, is it safe to just leave this as is, or should I have it fixed.
Thanks in advance,
Rik

Welcome to MVS.
This probably won't hurt your car any and is not unsafe unless you start feeling a degradation in the ride quality- however, it is always best to replace impending failing components before the sale- peace of mind is what buyers are wanting.
