So, I had my oil changed about 5000 miles ago. The company also cleaned out the fuel injectors with some sort of fluid they ran through the intake while the engine was running. About 250 miles later I noticed that I was losing some antifreeze (there was a small puddle under the passenger side front bumper- I'm in the US by the way), but it just looked like it was overflowing (although there wasn't too much antifreeze in the overflow tank). Then, about 1000 miles later (I was on a long trip) I started to smell smoke from my engine. I opened my hood and found oil had come out of the oil cap area. I cleaned my engine off, and drove some more, and more oil was on the top of my engine. When I checked the dipstick it looked like the company had overfilled my engine. After the second time, it wasn't a problem anymore (the smoke went away, and there wasn't more new oil on the engine), so I didn't worry about it, but...
I just had my oil changed and the place that I had it changed at told me that I have an oil leak (which is new) and that there is oil in my antifreeze.
Any thoughts on what this means, and if I should try to hold the company that changed my oil 5000 miles ago accountable?
Thanks.

Welcome to MVS,
You seem to have a number of things in motion and they don't necessarily correlate.
The oil in the coolant needs to be verified. In most cases that indicates a breach in the oil cooler line inside of the radiator. Any breach in the radiator can cause overheating problems. The flow can run the other way and coolant can run into the crankcase and make it appear that the oil level is too high.
Oil all around the cap would point to a clogged PCV system but I suppose the radiator problem could lead to the same thing.
My guess is that a new radiator will fix it all, the oil change had nothing to do with it.

Thanks for the reply Ozark Lee; I have noticed that a lot of people on this forum trust what you have to say. That could make sense. I will let you know what I find out.
