The other day as the antena came up, it never stopped. Just keep on coming until it fell out on my garage floor. My questions are:
Should I be able just to remove the assembly from the car and feed the antena & cable back into the gear system?
I suppose the stop at the end of the cable may have come off. what should I use as a new stop?
Should I use the same antena cable or install a new one?
Is this hopeless and I should just get a new antena assembly/system?

I haven't heard of the rod coming out by itself but the attached shows the VADIS instructions for getting it back in. There is no need to take the assembly out.
