XC70 Alarm Battery

Post by PGFaini »

It's my understanding, that my '02 V70XC' alarm has a seperate battery. Yesterday, I started getting an "Alarm system service required" message. I can only hope it's just a battery change needed, but don't know where the battery is, so that I can test it. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks, Paul

I'm 99 percent sure that the battery is contained in the siren housing. I think these directions will help you change it out, perhaps with some minor variations:
