Engine mount bushings

How long do these engine bushings last. I believe there's one at each corner. I just replaced the top engine mount as well as the passenger side mount. Boths jobs were done in my driveay. Both had tears and I am still not happy with the feel of engine vibration at idle. Any comments and suggestions will be appreciated. Is this a job for a shadetree mechanic?

Try looking at the motor mounts. That could be an issue. My top mount was bad
