Flushing window washer system and squeaky brakes

Somehow, the windshield washer fluid tank has been contaminated, so using the washer system actually clouds the windshield, so I need to give it a thorough flushing and cleaning. Does anyone have a suggestion for doing this sort of service?

Also, my brakes squeak and whistle, what would this indicate?

Is it possible that someone added engine antifreeze to the windshield tank rather than the overflow tank? My mother did that on one of her cars.

She just cleaned the windshield and traded it in but but I think if you can get rid of the old stuff - pull the line going to the diverter valve out of the tank and drain it to nothing. I'm guessing that you can run a couple of tanks worth of the windshield stuff through the system and clear it out.

OK, and what do you have to say about the brakes?

I just had the service done, so I'd like to know if they screwed it up.

The squeaky brakes could be caused by brake dust on the rortors or the use of non OEM brake pads, particularly on the rear brakes. Does the sound seem to come from the front or rear or both?

Have you tried putting brake quieter grease on the back of the pads?
