volvoc70 2001 etm light

i just paid 6 grand for a 2001 c70 and the ets light keeps coming on i've took it to several garages and they cant seem to find a problem with it my engine management is constantly on now and i've also got blue smoke coming out the back my nearest volvo dealer is 30 mins away from where i live could anybody tell me if all these problems are going to be expensive to fix
