1999 S80 T6 Puddle Lights

I bought my car used and never noticed it had puddle lights, because they are not working. I was cleaning and happen to see them. I took out the bulb but it's in perfect condition, and so is the other side. Any ideas?

Not sure what lights you're referring to. Where are they on the car?

The ones under the side view mirrors.

Have you tried the yellow button on the remote?
This should turn them on for a short time, along with the marker lights.

Oh so they don't come on everytime you park or open the door? I don't have a remote so maybe that's why. I had a Ford Fusion and they would come on whenever you parked the car, until you got out and lock it. I wess it's different with volvos.

I believe the only way to use them is to use the remote.
