P1171 Code on 2001 XC 70 Check engine light

P1171 Code on 2001 XC 70 Check engine light

My check engine light has been coming on and off for the last 4k. I had the code pulled several times and every time its the same code, meaning lean fuel? Putting in Sea Foam seams to make the code go away or maybe it just goes out anyhow?
Any suggestions?

Don't know if this was the cure but I started running 93 octane gasoline and I have had that check engine light come back on since.
