XC90 Anti Skid Error Code

Post by KJP-2000 »

2004 XC90AWD T5 -74,xxx Miles

Hello, and Thanks in advance. I bought this car for a mere $4100 with a bad turbo, lots of differed maintenance (reason for the bad turbo), and about 3 gallons of water under that carpets. (Lutafisk in sunroof drains - don't let this happen to you).

I fixed the Turbo, removed the seats, $18.73 in coins, and carpets... it's now dry.

The only remaining issue is the display reads Anti-skid error> I bought a scan tool that speaks Sweedish.

Scanner says- 0114 Active Yaw control sensor. Signal missing-

I thought "Yaw" was an answer in the affirmative in sveedish? :)

Anybody know where this sensor is ??? My guess it was fermenting in the vater wit da Lutafisk?

Thanks again.

I Just received my Ebay version of VADIS software last night. Cool program...

The Yaw sensor is under the Front Passenger seat near the Amplifier for the stereo. I do suspect that it was in the gallons of swill from the sunroof leak.

I'll pull it later today, and clean the contacts as mentioned in VADIS. I'll keep this up to date.

Nice pickup for the price. Glad to see someone posting in this section. The Yaw sensor is not fun to find in the catalog the first time!
