Lights on steering wheel buttons not working???

Hi All, Can anyone help regarding the lights on the steering wheel buttons not working.... cruise control buttons volume buttons etc are all not visible at night..not a problem during the day. Have checked fuses and all seem ok. Any advice???

Are you sure those are even lit? I have a 2000 and mine are not. I seem to recall that they were lit only in later models... but I could be wrong...

Hi, Thanks for your reply........Duh I hope they are lit, otherwise I am going feel like a complete idiot!! I have only owned the car a few weeks and I just thought they would light up at night so you could see what buttons you are pushing.
If anyone can confirm if they are lit or not that would be great, and I can just put up with it. You think for a 100k NZD car they would have lights on the buttons?????

Nope, no lights on the steering wheel controls on early S80.

Lights on steering wheel buttons DO light up on 2007 S80. Sorry I can't help solve the problem.

You are correct fine sir! They don't have lights. When I first got my 2000 I thought I'd never get used to it. I drive a lot at night for work and learned them by touch in no time. Did take a few map light and dome light turn ons at 75 mph though!
My 07 has them and I LOVE it!

My 2001 S80 has the buttons on the steering wheel illuminated!

The lights on my 2001 S80 are illuminated. Checked last night.
