Help with my 850 turbo

I have an 850 turbo sportwagon 1996 in which I have an "premium sound system SC-815" I didn't have my security code, but call dealer and with vin they gave me the code, My dilemma is the code given didn't work, Is there any other way to figure out my code? or am I s.o.l. thanks for the help

after thinking about things for a while I decided to slide out the radio and see if there was any writing on the top and there it was 4 numbers written in blue ball point pen used the numbers an presto the radio unlocked. If some has the same problem I had, check the radio top you might get lucky like I did.
