850 motor fan turns on when car is off

My battery keeps dying. I found my 850 in the middle of the night, hours after the car was shut off, with the motor fan running full blast. something is turning the fan on while the car is turned off. It does not happen every day. Once every 2 weeks is about right. And then the battery dies. Highly intermittent. Had it into the dealer about 4 times. No clue.

I just had the bulbs in the dashboard replaced. Is there a connection?

Would love some advice.

Sounds to me like a faulty cooling fan relay.
