PCV, what did i break? 94 855 T5

Post by dereswyman »

I'm a poor college student so I thought I'd take a shot at solving my positive pressure. I tried taking off the intake hose to reach the PTC to clean it first but I snapped a few hoses...

I have no clue which ones they are. I've taken a picture of them. Can anyone lead me to where to buy them? I'm guessing the bigger of the hoses is this http://ipdusa.com/version.asp?strPageHi ... &V_ID=9630

Is there also anyone in Seattle willing to give me a hand?

There is a vacuum diagram under your hood on the passenger's side (on a sticker). Take a picture of it and blow it up on your computer for better resolution. Your Volvo dealer sells all sorts of hoses on a spool in the back...you can just take broken hoses to them and they'll match them up. Otherwise, if you want something more substantial, let me suggest www.stylinmotors.com for silicone hose replacement kits for your car- I did this and think it's well worth it.

Thanks for the link, I'll probably be ordering the kit and just replacing a majority of the vacuum hoses. Most of the hoses are old anyway. I'm hoping to get it done by next weekend. I miss driving... and that turbo.

Part number 9471644, which is in fact for your PCV repair, should be all that you broke. I hope!
